With individual coaching, you can increase your client's level of engagement, provide personalized feedback, create a space for a deeper client relationship, and provide additional support.
Our Step-by-Step Tutorial on Setting up Individual Coaching on Marvelous
Many creators join platforms like Marvelous to host their courses or classes, but did you know we also provide the option to host individual coaching sessions?
With individual coaching, you can increase your client's level of engagement, provide personalized feedback, create a space for a deeper client relationship, and provide additional support.
When setting up individual coaching on Marvelous, you can:
Connect your studio with Calendly or Acuity for your clients to book their sessions (This allows your clients to book their sessions without leaving your studio).
Manually add sessions into your calendar exclusive to your 1:1 client.
Create a library of media content, such as videos, audio, and PDF.
Upload original content specific to your clients and their session.
Sell the private coaching at a fixed price, set it up as recurring membership to your on-demand library, and offer payment plans.
Step 1: Create an Individual Coaching Product
Firstly, you want to create an Individual Coaching product.
To do this you will want to login to your Marvelous studio, click “+ Add product”, and select “Individual coaching session”.
During the initial setup, you will be completing the following details:
naming your product
uploading a cover photo and product thumbnail
including a description
Step 2: Add Content
Next, you will add content.
This is where you would add the content that all of your clients will need to access. So, for example, it might include a welcome message (audio or video), an introductory workbook, or any original content created specifically for their time with you.
Step 3: Decide how Many Sessions you will Offer
Finally, it’s time to decide how many sessions you will include in your private coaching! Connect either your Calendly or Acuity account, if you have one, and then publish your product.
Suppose you don't have a Calendly or Acuity account. In that case, you can manually add sessions into your calendar exclusive to your 1:1 client by choosing your client's personal space during the event setup.
Step 4: Finalise Your Settings and Publish Your Product
In the Product settings, you have a few options for how that product will function.
For example, you can:
Hide your product from the public shop view so that it is only accessible via a secret URL.
Set the enrollment limit and turn on the waitlist if you‘d like to offer only a certain number of private coaching sessions.
Connect to a tag or audience in your ConvertKit or Mailchimp accounts for email automation.
Once your client has bought your Individual Coaching product, a private space is created.
This is where you include any content specific to your client. It’s like they have a personal room within your studio!
